Just to alert the readers, I got a wonderful case of food poisoning in Syria. I have been somewhat dellusional/throwing up/so tired I can't even move. I will post my photos and stories when I am feeling a bit more up to it.

Just one quick question: the mountains in your photo are in the Levant? Looks more like Montana to me. I am asking because I am an avid hiker, and if they are in the M-E I will definitely try to go there.
